Youth Future Vocational Lab, popularly known as YFL College, is a TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) institution registered by the Ministry of Education and Science in Somaliland as an institute of higher and further education
The college was established with the primary objective of training technically skilled personnel and empowering young people, especially young women, to secure employment they see as dignified and fulfilling.
We are working to become a global center of excellence in technical and vocational training in Borama by working closely with local and international partners to meet the training, employment and entrepreneurial needs of our youths.
To provide quality skills and competence using sustainable and innovative technologies that meet our learners and environmental needs.
Our work is guided by the Ministry of Education and Science Technical & Vocational Qualifications Authority, whom we work in partnership with in ensuring the qualifications and work placements meet the government’s guidelines.
Our qualifications are also accredited by national and international training and skills development organizations including UK, Canada and USA education and professional accreditations and certifications.Other courses are offered in partnership with organizations such as Canva, Google, Microsoft, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Coursera.
